The Expedition North Pole is one of the most rugged watches in the VE line but also one of the most affordable. The dial is big and bold and runs right to the edge of the bezel. This model’s engine is the Seiko Epson YN55 automatic, so the watch never needs winding if worn daily. The K1 crystal gives the best of both words of Sapphire and mineral by being right between them on the hardness scale. This makes this watch’s crystal both scratch and shatter resistant, excellent for a sport watch like this. The custom leather strap is multi-layered with a stripe down the center and has the extra security of a double-tang buckle. The rivets next to the case between the watch lugs add a great look.
